Refund & Cancellation Policy
How event bookings, deposits, and refunds work.
Event payments are processed online through PayU, a licensed Indian payment gateway. This policy describes how bookings, cancellations, and refunds work.
1. Event pricing and booking deposits
Some events have a full price to attend. Where offered, a smaller booking deposit may be paid instead to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due separately (details are shown on each event).
2. Cancelling your own RSVP
You can change your RSVP from "Going" to "Not going" at any time before an event. Deposits or payments are refundable in full if you cancel more than 48 hours before the event's start time, and non-refundable within 48 hours of the event, unless the event organiser states otherwise on the event listing.
3. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser
If The Commoners Club or an event organiser cancels an event, everyone who booked a spot will be entitled to a full refund of whatever they paid, including any deposit.
4. How refunds are issued
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used, through PayU. Processing times depend on PayU and your bank, and are typically reflected on statements within 5–10 business days of approval.
5. Requesting a refund
For any payment or refund issue, email [email protected] with the event name and your account email. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.
6. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date below whenever this policy changes materially.
