Refund & Cancellation Policy

How event bookings, deposits, and refunds work.

Online payment collection is not yet live on The Commoners Club. Event prices and booking deposits are currently shown and recorded for planning purposes only — no money changes hands through the platform today. This policy describes how bookings, cancellations, and refunds will work once online payment is enabled, and will be updated before that happens.

1. Event pricing and booking deposits

Some events have a full price to attend. Where offered, a smaller booking deposit may be paid instead to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due separately (details are shown on each event).

2. Cancelling your own RSVP

You can change your RSVP from "Going" to "Not going" at any time before an event. Once online payments are enabled: deposits or payments are refundable in full if you cancel more than 48 hours before the event's start time, and non-refundable within 48 hours of the event, unless the event organiser states otherwise on the event listing.

3. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser

If The Commoners Club or an event organiser cancels an event, everyone who booked a spot will be entitled to a full refund of whatever they paid, including any deposit.

4. How refunds are issued

Once payments are live, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used, through our payment processor. Processing times will depend on that processor and your bank, and will typically be reflected on statements within 5–10 business days of approval.

5. Requesting a refund

For any payment or refund issue, email [email protected] with the event name and your account email. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy will be reviewed and updated before online payments are switched on, and the date below will reflect the most recent change.
